Arrest Made in a 2017 Bank Robbery Offense: 900 Block of 7th Street, Northwest

Detectives from the Metropolitan Police Department’s Criminal Investigations Division and the FBI Violent Crimes Task Force have announced an arrest has been made in reference to a Bank Robbery offense that occurred on Tuesday, September 26, 2017, in the 900 block of 7th Street, Northwest.

At approximately 4:52 pm, the suspect entered the TD Bank at the listed location. Once inside, the suspect approached the teller counter. The suspect passed the teller a note demanding US Currency. The bank teller complied. The suspect then fled the scene.

On Thursday, September 26, 2019, pursuant to a United States District Court bench warrant, members of the Capitol Area Regional Fugitive Task Force arrested 64 year-old George Vann Hill, of Southeast, DC. He was charged with Bank Robbery.
