Arrest Made in a Robbery (Force and Violence) and a Burglary Two Offense: 4400 Block of Benning Road, Northeast

Detectives from the Metropolitan Police Department’s Sixth District announce that an arrest has been made in reference to Robbery (Force and Violence) and a Burglary Two offense that occurred in the 4400 block of Benning Road, Northeast.

Robbery (Force and Violence): On Saturday, December 21, 2019, at approximately 10:09 pm, the suspect entered an establishment at the listed location. Once inside, the suspect assaulted the victim and took property. The suspect then fled the scene. CCN: 19-227-200

Burglary Two: On Monday, January 20, 2020, at approximately 9:36 pm, the suspect forcibly entered an establishment at the listed location. Once inside, the suspect took property then fled the scene. CCN: 20-012-130

On Thursday, April 2, 2020, pursuant to a DC Superior Court arrest warrant, 28 year-old Jason Washington, of Bowie, MD, was arrested and charged with Robbery (Force and Violence) and Burglary Two.
