Detectives from the Metropolitan Police Department’s Seventh District announce an arrest has been made in reference to an Assault with a Dangerous Weapon (Gun) offense that occurred on Wednesday, July 22, 2020, in the 2400 block of Hartford Street, Southeast.
At approximately 2:00 pm, the suspect and victim were engaged in verbal dispute, inside a residence, at the listed location. The suspect then brandished a handgun and threatened the victim. The victim then fled the scene.
On Wednesday, July 22, 2020, 56 year-old Jerome Marshall, of Northwest, DC, was arrested and charged with Assault with a Dangerous Weapon (Gun).
