Arrest Made in an Assault with a Dangerous Weapon (Knife) Offense: 1500 Block of Wisconsin Avenue, Northwest

Detectives from the Metropolitan Police Department’s Second District announce an arrest has been made in reference to an Assault with a Dangerous Weapon (Knife) offense that occurred on Sunday, July 26, 2020, in the 1500 block of Wisconsin Avenue, Northwest.

At approximately 1:00 pm, the suspect approached the victim, outside of an establishment, at the listed location. The suspect brandished a knife, threatened the victim and then fled the scene. The suspect was apprehended by responding officers.

On Sunday, July 26, 2020, 42 year-old Marlow Dugger, of no fixed address, was arrested and charged with Assault with a Dangerous Weapon (Knife).
