Detectives from the Metropolitan Police Department’s Fifth District announce an arrests have been made in reference to an Assault with a Dangerous Weapon (Knife) offense that occurred on Monday, July 13, 2020, in the 2500 block of Benning Road, Northeast.
At approximately 7:24 pm, the suspect, who was armed with a knife, assaulted the victims, at the listed location, then fled the scene. The victims were treated at a local hospital for non-life threatening injuries.
On Monday, July 13, 2020, 41 year-old Edward Eugene Caudle, of Northeast, DC, was arrested and charged with Assault with a Dangerous Weapon (Knife).
