Arrest Made in an Assault with a Dangerous Weapon (Knife) Offense: 3600 Block of 14th Street, Northwest

Detectives from the Metropolitan Police Department’s Fourth District announce an arrest has been made in reference to an Assault with a Dangerous Weapon (Knife) offense that occurred on Wednesday, February 5, 2020, in the 3600 block of 14th Street, Northwest.

At approximately 12:08 am, members of the Fourth District were flagged down by a citizen in reference to a stabbing that occurred at the listed location. An adult male victim was located suffering from a non-life threatening laceration. The suspect was located and arrested by responding officers.

On Wednesday, February 5, 2020, 52-year-old Larue Cunningham, of No Fixed Address, was arrested and charged with Assault with a Dangerous Weapon (Knife).
