Arrests Made in Multiple Robbery Offenses

Detectives from the Metropolitan Police Department’s Criminal Investigations Division announced several arrests in recent robbery cases in Washington, DC.

First District:

On Friday, March 6, 2020, a 16 year-old juvenile male, of Northeast, DC, was arrested for an Assault With Intent to Commit Robbery offense that occurred on Thursday, March 4, 2020, in the 700 block of 10th Street, Northeast. CCN: 20-039-273

At approximately 8:45 pm, three suspects approached the victim at the listed location. The suspects approached the victim and demanded property. When the victim did not comply, one of the suspects assaulted the victim. The victim was able to flee the scene and notify police. This case remains under investigation.

Second District:

On Tuesday, March 3, 2020, pursuant to a DC Superior Court arrest warrant, 27 year-old Jarall Thompson, of Northwest, DC, was arrested for an Armed Robbery (Gun) offense that occurred Monday, February 10, 2020, in the 1600 block of 20th Street, Northwest. CCN: 20-024-652

At approximately 11:09 pm, two suspects approached the victim at the listed location. One of the suspects brandished a handgun and demanded property. The victim complied then the suspect fled the scene. This case remains under investigation.

Third District:

On Saturday, February 29, 2020, a 14 year-old juvenile male, of Northwest, DC, was arrested for an Attempt Robbery (Snatch) offense that occurred on Friday, February 28, 2020, in the 2700 block of 11th Street, Northwest. CCN: 20-036-303

At approximately 10:04 pm, the suspect approached the victim at the listed location. The suspect attempted to snatch the victim’s property then fled the scene. The suspect was apprehended by responding officers.

On Tuesday, March 3, 2020, a 15 year-old juvenile male, of Northwest, DC, was arrested for an Armed Robbery (Gun) offense that occurred on Monday, March 2, 2020, in the 100 block of Bates Street, Northwest. CCN: 20-037-941

At approximately 7:31 pm, the suspect approached the victim at the listed location. The suspect brandished a handgun and took the victim’s property then fled the scene.

Fourth District:

On Monday, March 2, 2020, pursuant to a DC Superior Court custody order, a 15 year-old juvenile male, of Northwest, DC, was arrested for a Robbery (Force and Violence) offense that occurred on Sunday, February 23, 2020, in the 600 block of Park Road, Northwest. CCN 20-032-637

At approximately 1:25 am, a group of suspects approached the victim at the listed location. The suspects assaulted the victim and took the victim’s property then fled the scene. This case remains under investigation.
