Arrests Made in Robbery Offenses

Detectives from the Metropolitan Police Department’s Criminal Investigations Division announced several arrests in recent robbery cases in Washington, DC.

Second District:

• On Wednesday, September 2, 2020, 56 year-old Vanessa Annette Gorham, of No Fixed Address, was arrested for a Robbery (Force & Violence) offense that occurred on Wednesday, September 2, 2020, in the 1100 block of Vermont Avenue, Northwest. CCN 20-125-248

• At approximately 3:40 am, the suspect approached at the victim at the listed location. The suspect snatch the victim’s property. The suspect then fled the scene and was later apprehended by responding officers.

Fourth District:

• On Saturday, August 29, 2020, 20 year-old Amir Golden, of Northwest, DC, was arrested for an Armed Robbery (Gun) offense that occurred on Saturday, August 29, 2020, in the 1300 block of Ingraham Street, Northwest. CCN 20-123-378

• At approximately 9:39 am, the suspect approached at the victim at the listed location. The suspect brandished a firearm and snatch the victim’s property. The suspect then fled the scene and was later apprehended by responding officers.

• On Sunday, August 30, 2020, 31 year-old Lidio Salvatier-Arias, of Northwest, DC, was arrested for a Robbery (Snatch) offense that occurred on Sunday, August 30, 2020, in the 5300 block of 13th Street, Northwest. CCN 20-123-793

• At approximately 1:40 am, the suspect approached the victim at the listed location. The suspect took the victim’s property and fled the scene. The suspect was apprehended by responding officers.

Fifth District:

• On Sunday, August 30, 2020, 50 year-old Kevin Marshall, of Northeast, DC was arrested for a Robbery (Snatch) offense that occurred on Sunday, August 30, 2020, in the 1200 block of New York Avenue, Northeast. CCN 20-123-965

• At approximately 1:24 pm, the suspect approached the victim at the listed location. The suspect snatched property from the victim then fled the scene. The suspect was apprehended by responding officers.

Sixth District:

• On Saturday, August 29, 2020, pursuant to a DC Superior Court custody order, a 16 year-old juvenile male, of Northeast, DC was arrested for an Unarmed Carjacking offense that occurred on Friday, August 21, 2020, in the 6200 block of Dix Street, Northeast. CCN 20-119-428

• At approximately 12:31 pm, the victim was in their vehicle and was lured out by three suspects at the listed location. Once outside, the suspects assaulted the victim. One of the suspects then fled in the victim’s vehicle and the additional suspects fled on foot. This case remains under investigation.

• On Monday, August 31, 2020, a 14 year-old juvenile male, of Oxon Hill, MD, was arrested for an Armed Carjacking offense that occurred on Monday, August 31, 2020, in the 4800 block of C Street, Southeast. CCN 20-124-637

• At approximately 10:15 pm, the suspects approached victim, who was in her vehicle, at the listed location. The suspects brandished a handgun and demanded the victim to exit her vehicle. The victim complied and the suspects fled the scene in the victim’s vehicle. One of the suspects was apprehended by responding officers. This case remains under investigation.
