Bracing for Impact

On the eve of what’s being referred to as the most consequential election of our lifetime, the streets of DC are bracing for impact. In a look more befitting our coastal cites preparing for a major storm or hurricane. A number of stores are shuttering and boarding up. The sounds of saws slicing wood into usable panels and the accompanying hammering ring through a virtual COVID-induced ghost town. Stores that aren’t boarded this evening may well be boarded by tomorrow night. All of this in preparation for the anticipated chaos and violence associated with the 2020 Presidential election.
