Mayor Bowser Directs Additional $6 Million to District’s Coronavirus Response

(Washington, DC) – Mayor Muriel Bowser has directed an additional $5,000,000 of the District’s Contingency Cash Reserve Fund for the Office of Contracting and Procurement to purchase needed supplies, protective equipment, and other necessary equipment for DC’s response to the coronavirus (COVID-19). Additionally, the Mayor directed $1,000,000 to the Office of the Chief Financial Officer to purchase needed equipment and services for DC’s response to COVID-19.
