Suspect Sought in an Assault with a Dangerous Weapon (Gun) Offense: 4400 Block of Benning Road, Northeast

Detectives from the Metropolitan Police Department’s Sixth District seek the public’s assistance in locating a suspect in reference to an Assault with a Dangerous Weapon (Gun) offense that occurred on Sunday, March 1, 2020, in the 4400 block of Benning Road, Northeast.

At approximately 11:27 pm, the suspect approached the victim at the listed location. The suspect brandished a handgun and shot at the victim. The suspect then fled the scene. No injuries were reported.
