*Updated with Vehicle of Interest Video* Suspect and Vehicle of Interest Sought in an Assault with a Dangerous Weapon (Knife) Offense: 2800 Block of Alabama Avenue, Southeast

Detectives from the Metropolitan Police Department’s Sixth District seek the public’s assistance in identifying a suspect and vehicle of interest in reference to an Assault with a Dangerous Weapon (Knife) offense that occurred on Friday, October 23, 2020, in the 2800 block of Alabama Avenue, Southeast.

At approximately 9:41 pm, the suspect exited a vehicle approached the victim at the listed location. The suspect brandished a knife and stabbed the victim. The suspect then fled the scene. The victim was transported to a local hospital for treatment of non-life threatening injuries.
