Arrest Made in a Burglary One and a First Degree Sexual Abuse Offense: 3000 Block of Stanton Road, Southeast

Detectives from the Metropolitan Police Department’s Sexual Assault Unit have announced an arrest has been made in reference to a Burglary One and a First Degree Sexual Abuse offense that occurred on Monday, September 30, 2019, in the 3000 block of Stanton Road, Southeast.

At approximately 4:50 pm, the suspect entered an occupied residence at the listed location. Once inside, the suspect sexually assaulted the victim. The suspect took property then fled the scene.

On Thursday, October 3, 2019, pursuant to a DC Superior Court custody order, a 17 year-old juvenile male, of Southeast, DC, was arrested and charged with Burglary One and First Degree Sexual Abuse.
