Arrest Made in a Burglary One Offense: 1700 Block of 4th Street, Northwest

Detectives from the Metropolitan Police Department’s Third District have announced an arrest has been made in reference to a Burglary One offense that occurred on Tuesday, September 17, 2019, in the 1700 block of 4th Street, Northwest.

At approximately 8:00 pm, the suspect entered an occupied residence at the listed location. The suspect approached the victim, assaulted her, and took property. The suspect then fled the scene. The victim was transported to an area hospital for treatment of non-life threatening injuries.

On Wednesday, September 18, 2019, 23-year-old Deon Lavelle Dais, of No Fixed Address, was arrested and charged with Burglary One.
