Arrest Made in a Burglary One Offense: 2800 Block of Jasper Street, Southeast

Detectives from the Metropolitan Police Department’s Seventh District announce an arrest has been made in reference to a Burglary One offense that occurred on Tuesday, April 14, 2020, in the 2800 block of Jasper Street, Southeast.

At approximately 1:03 pm, the suspects gained entry to an occupied residence at the listed location. While inside of the residence, the suspects assaulted the victim, took property then fled the scene.

On Tuesday, April 14, 2020, 28 year-old Richard Barksdale, of Southeast, DC, was arrested and charged with Burglary One.
