Arrest Made in an Assault with a Dangerous Weapon (Gun) Offense: 1200 Block of Connecticut Avenue, Northwest

Detectives from the Metropolitan Police Department’s Second District have announced an arrest has been made in reference to an Assault with a Dangerous Weapon (Gun) offense that occurred on Wednesday, August 21, 2019, in the 1200 Block of Connecticut Avenue, Northwest.
At approximately 4:41 am, the suspect approached the victim at the listed location. The suspect brandished a firearm and threatened the victim. The suspect then fled the scene. No injuries were reported.
On Tuesday, August 27, 2019, pursuant to a DC Superior Court arrest warrant, 22-year-old Theron Boone, of Reston, VA, was arrested and charged with Assault with a Dangerous Weapon (Gun).
