Arrest Made in an Assault with a Dangerous Weapon (Knife) Offense: 1100 Block of 11th Street, Northwest

Detectives from the Metropolitan Police Department’s Third District have announced an arrest has been made in reference to an Assault with a Dangerous Weapon (Knife) offense that occurred on Saturday, August 24, 2019, in the 1100 block of 11th Street, Northwest.
At approximately 7:15 pm, the suspect and victim were engaged in a verbal dispute at the listed location. The suspect brandished a knife and stabbed the victim. The suspect was apprehended by responding officers.
On Saturday, August, 24, 2019, 41 year-old William Escobar, of Northwest, was arrested and charged with Assault with a Dangerous Weapon (Knife).
