Arrest Made in an Assault with a Dangerous Weapon (Knife) Offense: Unit Block of H Street, Northwest

Detectives from the Metropolitan Police Department’s First District announced an arrest has been made in reference to an Assault with a Dangerous Weapon (Knife) offense that occurred on Tuesday, May 5, 2020, in the unit block of H Street, Northwest.

At approximately 7:30 pm, members of the First District responded to the listed location for the report of a stabbing. Upon arrival, officers located an adult male suffering from a stab wound. DC Fire and Emergency Medical Services transported the victim to an area hospital for non-life threatening injuries.

On Tuesday, May 5, 2020, 25 year-old Javon Nico Hale, of Southeast, DC, was arrested and charged with Assault with a Dangerous Weapon (Knife).
