Arrest Made in Burglary Offenses in the Second District

Detectives from the Metropolitan Police Department’s Second District announce an arrest has been made in reference to Burglary offenses that occurred in the Second District.

Burglary One: On Saturday, October 12, 2019, at approximately 1:00 am, the suspect entered an occupied residence in the 1400 block of Church Street, Northwest. Once inside, the suspect took property then fled the scene. CCN: 19-182-402

Burglary Two: On Wednesday, April 15, 2020, at approximately 7:00 pm, the suspect forcibly entered an establishment in the 4400 block of Connecticut Avenue, Northwest. Once inside, the suspect took property then fled the scene. CCN: 20-059-623

On Tuesday, April 21, 2020, a 17 year-old juvenile male, of Temple Hills, MD, was arrested and charged with two counts of Burglary Two.
