Arrest Made in Burglary Offenses in the Second District

Detectives from the Metropolitan Police Department’s Second District announced an arrest has been made in reference to a Burglary One and a Burglary Two offense that occurred in the Second District.

Burglary One: On Saturday, September 14, 2019, at approximately 4:05 am, in the 2100 block of G Street, Northwest, the suspect entered a facility at the listed location. Once inside, the suspect took property then fled the scene. CCN: 19-163-696

Burglary Two: On Saturday, September 14, 2019, at approximately 6:56 am, in the 600 block of 22nd Street, Northwest, the suspect entered an establishment at the listed location and took property. The suspect then fled the scene. CCN: 19-163-721

On Saturday, September 14, 2019, 25 year-old Marquell Cooper, of Northeast, DC, was arrested and charged with one count of Burglary One and one count of Burglary Two.
