Suspect Sought in an Assault with a Dangerous Weapon (Gun) Offense: 3800 Block of Minnesota Avenue, Northeast

Detectives from the Metropolitan Police Department’s Sixth District seek the public’s assistance in locating a suspect in reference to an Assault with a Dangerous Weapon (Gun) offense that occurred on Saturday, February 22, 2020, in the 3800 block of Minnesota Avenue, Northeast.

At approximately 4:15 pm, the suspect and victim were involved in an altercation at the listed location. The suspect brandished a handgun and a fired shot at the victim. The suspect then fled the scene. The victim was not struck by the gunfire.

The suspect was captured by a nearby surveillance camera and can be seen in the photos below:
