Vehicle of Interest Sought in an Assault with a Dangerous Weapon (Gun): 2100 Block of Maryland Avenue, Northeast

Detectives from the Metropolitan Police Department’s Fifth District seek the public’s assistance in identifying a vehicle of interest in an Assault with a Dangerous Weapon (Gun) offense that occurred on Wednesday, April 1, 2020, in the 2100 block of Maryland Avenue, Northeast. 

At approximately 4:46 pm, the suspects approached two victims at the listed location. One of the suspects brandished a handgun and shot the victims. The suspects then fled the scene in a vehicle. The victims were transported to an area hospital for treatment of non-life threatening injuries.

The Metropolitan Police Department currently offers a reward of up to $10,000 to anyone who provides information that leads to the arrest and conviction of the person or persons responsible for a crime committed in the District of Columbia.
