Arrest Made in an Armed Robbery of an Establishment (Gun) Offense: 1500 Block of 21st Street, Northwest

Detectives from the Metropolitan Police Department’s Second District and Agents from the FBI’s Washington Field Office have announced an arrest has been made in reference to an Armed Robbery of an Establishment (Gun) offense that occurred on Tuesday, September 17, 2019, in the 1500 block of 21st Street, Northwest.

At approximately 5:44 pm, the suspect entered an establishment at the listed location. The suspect brandished a handgun and demanded property. The employee complied and the suspect fled the scene.

On Monday, September 23, 2019, pursuant to a United States District Court arrest warrant, 18-year-old Jamari Brighthaupt, of Northwest, DC, was arrested and charged with Armed Robbery of an Establishment (Gun).
