Arrest Made in an Assault with a Dangerous Weapon (Gun) Offense: 3700 Block of D Street, Southeast

Detectives from the Metropolitan Police Department’s Sixth District announced an arrest has been made in reference to an Assault with a Dangerous Weapon (Gun) offense that occurred on Tuesday, November 19, 2019, in the 3700 Block of D Street, Southeast.

At approximately 9:55 am, the suspect brandished a handgun and fired shots at the victim while at the listed location. The suspect then fled the scene. There were no injuries. 

On Thursday, April 2, 2020, pursuant to a DC Superior Court arrest warrant, 27 year-old Kimani Octavious Cromartie, of Southeast, DC, was arrested and charged with Assault with a Dangerous Weapon (Gun).
