Arrest Made in an Assault with Intent to Kill while Armed (Gun) Offense: 600 Block of T Street, Northwest

Detectives from the Metropolitan Police Department’s Third District announce an arrest has been made in reference to an Assault with Intent to Kill while Armed (Gun) offense that occurred on Sunday, July 28, 2019, in the 600 block of T Street, Northwest.

At approximately 2:48 pm, members of the Third District responded to the listed location for the report of the sounds of gunshots. Upon arrival, officers located four adult males suffering from gunshot wounds. DC Fire and Emergency Medical Services responded to the scene and transported the victims to area hospitals for treatment of life threatening injuries.
On Wednesday, December 18, 2019, pursuant to a DC Superior Court arrest warrant, 38 year-old Alessandro Romano, of Northwest, DC, was arrested and charged with Assault With Intent to Kill while Armed (Gun).
