Bell Ringing in Grant Circle to Honor COVID 19 Victims

John D’Angelo of single-member of district 4c in Ward 4 put it this way. “A couple of weeks ago, America was hitting record-high death totals. A 9/11 every day was the reference I saw widely used. The collective grief of a nation weighed on me. I then remembered that I had read an article about one of the inaugural events- https://www.axios.com/biden-memorial-covid-inauguration-d4addc1e-fa4c-4c4e-a3ed-f68b2fc060a7.html. I started reaching out to my local ANC, Council, and Churches to find a local church. Now, I’m encouraging other folks to lead the charge with their churches in their communities. “

Working with local churches in Grant Circle, John has put together a bell-ringing ceremony for this Tuesday, January 19th. The details and location are below.

◦5:35 PM – Event breaks up – Amazing Grace
